We are looking for a Floor Layer (Construction Worker/Journeyperson Floor Layer) to join our manufacturing team in Kamloops. Reporting to the Lead Hand, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials in modular buildings while ensuring a professional, durable finish that meets our quality standards. Job Responsibilities: * Install flooring materials such as vinyl, laminate, carpet tiles, linoleum, and rubber flooring in modular buildings. * Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and applying underlayment as required. * Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials accurately to specifications. * Apply adhesives and ensure proper bonding and installation. * Inspect completed work to ensure quality, alignment, and finish. * Repair or replace damaged flooring when required. * Review floor plans, work orders, and daily production schedules. * Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition. * Work closely with other trades and production teams to complete projects efficiently. * Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing standards. Job Qualifications: * Ticketed or unticketed Floor Layer with2+ years of flooring installation experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. * Experience installing a variety of flooring products, including vinyl, laminate, and carpet tile. * Ability to read drawings, measurements, and layout specifications accurately. * Experience in construction, manufacturing, modular, commercial, or industrial environments. * Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Physical ability to kneel, bend, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy materials. * Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
