Purpose: As Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will help shape the financial direction of one of the world's leading retirement services organizations. You will own enterprise forecasting, deliver strategic financial insights, and partner with leaders across Finance, Actuarial, Treasury, Risk, Corporate Development, IT, and Apollo to influence key business decisions and optimize Athene's financial performance. Through our partnership with Apollo, you'll have exposure to large-scale strategic initiatives, sophisticated investment strategies, and opportunities to solve complex business challenges while helping deliver financial security for millions of customers. Accountabilities: * Lead enterprise financial forecasting and maintain Athene's corporate forecast model, providing accurate and actionable insights for executive decision-making. * Develop and enhance analytics that explain variances in Spread Related Earnings (SRE), KPIs, and other financial performance metrics to improve forecasting accuracy. * Partner across Finance, Actuarial, Treasury, Capital Management, Risk, Corporate Development, IT, and Apollo to support strategic initiatives and enterprise priorities. * Translate complex financial and business drivers into executive-ready analyses and presentations that influence strategic decisions. * Drive continuous improvement by leveraging technology, AI-enabled analytics, and innovative approaches to enhance forecasting, reporting, and financial planning processes while maintaining strong governance and accuracy. Qualifications and Experience: * 7+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, insurance, actuarial, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, consulting, or relevant experience. * Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience building complex models and executive-level analyses. * Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for senior leadership while demonstrating critical thinking, adaptability, innovation, AI fluency, and a bias for action in a dynamic environment. * Demonstrated ownership mindset with success leading complex cross-functional initiatives while building trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and continuously improving processes. * Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Progress toward actuarial (FSA) and/or financial (CFA) designation is strongly preferred. Drive. Discipline. Confidence. Focus. Commitment. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of professional experience in FP&A, insurance, or related financial fields. Advanced financial modeling skills and progress toward actuarial or financial designations are strongly preferred.
