The role involves reviewing and responding to technical questions, acting as a liaison between the construction site needs and the design engineering team, and participating in acceptance testing. This engineer will also provide technical support, ensuring the construction team uses the latest revisions of plans, specifications, and shop drawings. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in hydroelectric and industrial fields, including at least 2 years on a medium or large-scale construction site. Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ) is required, along with knowledge of Canadian codes and standards.
