Maintenance Generalist

Your Role Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical maintenance activities to support facility operations Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of mechanical equipment including air handling units, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers Replace filters and maintain housekeeping standards in utility plants, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, and IT rooms Conduct water testing activities in accordance with established procedures and water treatment requirements Perform scheduled inspections and operational checks on equipment and systems Support health, safety, and life safety processes while ensuring compliance with all site requirements Assist trades personnel by transporting materials, equipment, and providing on-site maintenance support as required About You High School Diploma or Equivalent: certificate/Diploma Electrical Engineering Technician. Certificate of Fire alarm System monitoring and troubleshooting of Fire System is an asset. Expected compensation for this unionized role is between pay range of $32.37 to 34.49 per hour. Base salaries are determined according to the compensation range of the Collective Agreement. The Maintenance Generalist will perform minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical maintenance while conducting routine servicing of mechanical equipment. They will also support health and safety processes and assist trades personnel with on-site maintenance tasks.

Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, with an Electrical Engineering Technician certificate being highly preferred. The role requires the ability to work autonomously, maintain safety compliance, and troubleshoot building systems effectively.
