Trackwork Engineer

YOUR ROLE * Demonstrate creativity and innovation in the development of designs and solutions while maintaining safety and balancing operational flexibility, reliability and whole-life cost. * Prepare and model track alignment & profile drawings, trackplan schematics, trackwork specifications, and yard and maintenance facility general layouts, cross sections and details. * Interface with multi-discipline teams, client and owner’s engineers * Provide construction support services including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, Non-conformance reports, as-built survey analysis. etc. * Perform analysis for ride quality and safety against derailment. * Perform occasional field engineering services. ABOUT YOU * Degree in Civil Engineering. * Professional Registration with PEO. * Minimum 5-10 years experience. * Familiar with relevant standards (AREMA, EN, TCRP, etc.). * Solution-oriented, team player, resourceful. * Able to handle multiple scopes on multiple projects simultaneously. * Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley RailTrack would be an asset. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. The Trackwork Engineer will develop designs and solutions while ensuring safety and operational flexibility. Responsibilities include preparing track alignment drawings, providing construction support, and performing ride quality analysis.

Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering and professional registration with PEO. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience and familiarity with relevant standards are required.
