General Labourer

We are looking for a General Labourer on a contract basis for a specified term. Duties must be fulfilled as assigned by the shop supervisor / lead hand safely, efficiently and effectively. Other duties will be assigned as necessary. What you will do: * Cut, fit, and weld components to manufacture corrugated pipe fittings. * Use of hand plasma, oxy-acetylene, band saw and misc. hand tools. * Assisting operators in material handling. * Assisting in routine maintenance. * Keeping the workstations tidy and clean * Assisting with trouble shooting and problem solving. What you will need: * Safety conscious * Welding experience would be considered an asset. * Must possess a certain degree of mechanical aptitude. * Must be able to work accurately with measurements. * Must be organized and self-motivated. * Must be able to communicate with others. * Must be able to work in a team environment. * Experience with heavy machinery would be considered an asset.
