Project Manager – Major Projects Location: Thorndale, Ontario Lead major infrastructure projects from concept to completion. Algonquin Bridge is looking for an experienced Project Manager – Major Projects to lead the successful execution of a significant bridge infrastructure program. This role is responsible for coordinating approximately 20 bridge projects over an 18-month period while managing the procurement, coordination, and resale of project materials. Working closely with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What You'll Do * Lead projects from award through fabrication, delivery, installation, and project closeout. * Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables. * Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Fabrication, Quality, Shipping, Finance, and Installation. * Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors while serving as the primary project contact. * Monitor project progress, identify risks, manage scope changes, and resolve issues proactively. * Ensure project documentation, contract requirements, and customer expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle. * Prepare project status reports and recommend process improvements to support future project success. What You'll Bring * Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. * Three to five years of project management experience in construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, engineered products, bridges, or a related industry. * Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, contracts, change management, and customer communication. * Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Experience managing multiple priorities and coordinating diverse stakeholders. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software, ERP/MRP systems, CRM software, or Visual is considered an asset. * Ability to read technical drawings and specifications is considered an asset. * PMP designation is considered an asset.
