Job Description We are currently accepting applications for a temporary Cook position with our Offshore Division. Responsibilities Ordering of catering supplies within budget, ensuring that sufficient food is onboard for the intended voyage with allowance for delays, or catering for unscheduled passengers Food storage, preparation, and cooking in a safe and hygienic manner Cleaning of utensils and crockery Maintaining galley, storerooms, refrigerators and mess rooms to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene; refrigerators must be defrosted periodically As an absolute imperative, follow proper hygienic practices in the preparation and serving of food Verify that guards and other equipment safety features (i.e. refrigerator alarms) are functional Verify that the galley’s firefighting equipment is kept clear of obstructions and ready for use at all times Contribute to ATL’s Safety culture by: Understand and comply with various safety processes within the Safety Management System Possess the skills to perform job related tasks and apply safe practices while performing physical tasks. Have a thorough understanding of precautions and procedures related to the Safety Management System Have thorough understanding of pollution regulations and the company’s objectives regarding environmental protection. Exigences
