Java Full stack Developer

Title: Java Full Stack Developer Location: Toronto, ON / Hybrid (2-3 days at Toronto office preferred) Duration: Long term contract Job Description We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications across both backend and frontend layers. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and Angular. Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs and microservices. Develop reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code following established coding standards. Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective solutions. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers. Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes. Required Skills Good years of professional software development experience. Strong experience with Core Java / Java 8+, preferably Java 17+. Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework. Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices. Strong experience with Angular 12+, preferably Angular 15/16/17 or above. Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Experience with Git and source-control practices. Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito. Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies. Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps. Experience with Redis or other caching technologies. Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. Financial services or banking domain experience is an asset.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack enterprise applications using Java and Angular. Build robust backend microservices and integrate them with responsive frontend web applications.

Requires strong professional experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Angular 12+. Candidates should be proficient in SQL databases and familiar with Agile methodologies and unit testing frameworks.
