Atlas-Apex Services (Ottawa) Inc. is looking to fill Sheet Metal Installer positions for full time employment in our Ottawa branch. Responsibilities: Install sheet metal applications, steel wall finishes and sheet metal flashings Fabricate/alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, or drills Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment Install wall panel products according to specifications and building codes Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets Maneuver units into position for installation, and anchor the units Secure metal panels in place, and interlock and fasten grooved panel edges Fasten seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, or bonds to assemble components to repair sheet metal items Skills/Qualifications: Reliable and dependable team player with a strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Capable of lifting and handling materials over 45 kg Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety boots Reliable transportation is an asset Ability to understand and follow company safety policies and procedures Intermediate English communication skills required

Install and fabricate sheet metal applications, steel wall finishes, and flashings at construction sites. This includes using various tools to drill, punch, and secure metal panels using welds, bolts, or rivets.

Candidates must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and lift materials over 45 kg. Reliable teamwork, ability to work outdoors in various weather, and intermediate English skills are required.
