Campbelltown Arts Centre is seeking a Creative Producer (Temporary, Full-Time) to lead the delivery of our performance and music program. About The Role We are seeking an experienced Creative Producer (Temporary, Full-Time) to join the Arts Centre’s curatorial and production team for a 12 month engagement commencing in August 2026. This role will lead the delivery of key performance projects spanning creative development and presentation, and will contribute to initiatives that support emerging, mid-career and established artists. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes: Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive job-related experience in contemporary performance, theatre, music, dance, experiential arts or screen based practice. Knowledge of performance arts practice within local, national and international arts organisations. Extensive experience in producing. Experience coordinating personnel for project teams and contractors (including artists, educators and technical personnel). Extensive experience in the development and monitoring of program budgets. Experience in preparing and negotiating contracts and agreements relevant to artistic programs. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Experience in writing, editing and commissioning text. Working with Children Check (a verification will be conducted on recommended applicants). This position has been identified as “child-related employment” under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998. It is an offence under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998 for a person convicted or found guilty of a serious offence against children (whether in NSW or elsewhere) to apply for this position. What We Are Offering This 12-month contract offers an opportunity for a dynamic Creative Producer to deliver contemporary performance projects with artists, communities and partners. The role leads the Conscious music development programs, including Conscious Cohort, while supporting artist development, residencies, presentations, evaluation and reporting. It also contributes to major projects, including the production and presentation of Atopia by Marcus Whale, and works closely with artists, producers, production, marketing and external partners to realise CAC’s performance and music program.
