Join a Professional Automotive Team Auto Electric Service is looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and accurate diagnostics. Our technicians play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers’ vehicles. We operate a professional shop environment where technicians are respected, supported, and given opportunities to grow their technical skills. Our team works on a wide range of vehicles including but not limited to: Domestic and import vehicles Light trucks Fleet and commercial vehicles If you enjoy solving technical problems, working with modern diagnostic tools, and being part of a strong team culture, we would like to hear from you. As an Automotive Service Technician, your responsibilities will include: Diagnosing mechanical and electrical vehicle issues using modern diagnostic equipment Performing scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid services, and inspections Repairing brake systems, steering and suspension components Servicing drive-train systems and engine components Performing tire services including rotations, repairs, and replacements Repairing electrical and electronic vehicle systems Performing air conditioning inspections and repairs Conducting Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and documenting vehicle condition Communicating repair findings clearly with the service consultant team Performing road tests to verify repairs We are looking for technicians who demonstrate strong technical ability and professionalism. Preferred qualifications include: Automotive Service Technician certification (Journeyperson preferred) Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills Experience using scan tools and diagnostic equipment Ability to work independently in a busy shop environment Strong attention to detail Valid driver’s license Physical Requirements Ability to lift parts and equipment up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods Comfortable working with tools and shop equipment We offer a salary-based compensation plan with performance bonuses, providing income stability while rewarding productivity and quality work.
