Responsible for transporting customers and dealership personnel, maintaining the building and grounds, and supporting the Sales and Service Departments. Duties include organizing and parking vehicles, detailing customer and showroom vehicles, removing snow and protective coverings, checking vehicles for damage, picking up parts, assisting with deliveries and shop clean-up, and keeping the lot clean and organized. Also responsible for placing vehicle signage, monitoring vehicles through the reconditioning process, and delivering dealer trades to nearby stores or driving customers home when needed. What drives your day-to-day? * Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed * Building and grounds maintenance as needed * Service and Sales Department duties * Daily Organization and parking of vehicles for sale and service department * Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer * Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately * Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks * Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed * Cleaning off vehicle exteriors based on seasonal needs (i.e. snow removal) * Identify any lot merchandising needs or issues to the appropriate manager * Placing signage in and on vehicles for advertising purposes * Monitoring and organizing vehicles daily based on their progress in the reconditioning process * Lot tidiness (garbage clearing, etc) What are the must-haves… * High school diploma or GED * Interest in automotive industry, and knowledgeable about vehicles * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record * Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles * Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset * Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively * Excellent customer service skills The Perks. * Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package * Employee Vehicle Purchase & Service Plans * Employee and Family Assistance Programs * Company-wide appreciation events and contests throughout the calendar year * Professional development and the opportunity to grow your career And those are just the basics. Compensation The expected range of compensation for this position is $18 – $18.50 Hourly — No bonus.
