Résumé du poste

About the Role Your future role on our team Automated DesignWorks (ADW) is not your typical software firm. We are a nimble, high-intensity engineering software startup developing design automation frameworks, bespoke scripting integrations, and advanced CAD modeling architectures that dramatically accelerate design-to-manufacturing lifecycles. We are looking for a technical data and logic analyst to join us on the ground level. Simply put, this role acts as the technical "glue". We are not looking for a pure full-stack programmer, nor a dedicated draftsman, but a highly analytical thinker who sits directly in the middle of those two systems. Your core mission is to map, structure, and translate complex engineering rules into the mathematical and data models that drive our software platforms. This role is all about ownership, logical problem-solving, and handling the critical gray areas. A lot of complex technical work doesn't fall neatly into "pure coding" or "pure drafting." If a problem requires systematic tracking, cross-functional data modeling, or complex structural logic to bridge our systems together, that work will belong to you. Every single data framework you map out will directly dictate how our automation engines execute. In other words, your work will matter a lot. We couple this high-intensity execution with a supportive culture rooted in mutual respect, transparency, and collaboration. We give you the autonomy necessary to succeed, while providing a clear launchpad for those ready to commit to our collective growth. If you have a hunger for engineering excellence and a desire to move fast, ADW is an absolute career accelerator. If you execute with precision and out-perform expectations, you will not be held back by arbitrary corporate timelines or red tape. We actively reward execution, resourcefulness, and grit. Perform exceptionally well here, and your professional trajectory, ownership, and role will scale at an equal pace. Type of position ADW is seeking a Technical Data & Logic Analyst for a Full-time role in Woodbridge, ON. Responsibilities Actively grow your skillset in SolidWorks automation, building a deep systematic understanding of CAD and how automation tools interface with complex production environments Architect, optimize, and maintain the complex, formula-heavy master configuration sheets, data lookup tables, and multi-variable logic workbooks that both our software tools and CAD technicians rely on. Deconstruct manufacturing constraints and engineering parameters into highly structured, step-by-step logic rules that programmers can easily translate into clean codebase scripts. Take immediate ownership of the critical "in-between" tasks, which could range from testing automated script outputs against 3D CAD files to troubleshooting logical discrepancies across the pipeline. Actively jump into any project area where data, geometry, and logic intersect, ensuring no critical technical details fall through the cracks during development cycles. You Will Thrive at ADW if you are… An Excel wizard. You have a professional history of building dynamic and robust data models. Complex formulas, array mapping, and deep logic structures in Excel are second nature to you. Comfortable with ambiguity. You can don’t require a perfectly paved road map. You are naturally resourceful, highly analytical, and love diving into a complex technical problem to figure out how the pieces should fit together. An effective technical translator. You can jump from a conversation about software parameters with a developer to a conversation about geometric tolerances with a technician, serving as the clean communication bridge between them. Possess extreme attention to detail. You understand that a single misplaced variable or flawed calculation downstream can ripple across an entire manufacturing pipeline, and you take pride in your accuracy. Qualifications & Background A background in Systems Engineering, Industrial/Management Engineering, Mechanical/CAD Technology, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical discipline Demonstrated experience building heavy, logical, and robust data models or calculation frameworks in Excel. A fundamental, conceptual understanding of programming logic, data structures, or baseline scripting (e.g., exposure to VBA, Python, MATLAB, SQL, or pseudo-code). You don't need to be an application developer, but you must be able to think like one. A foundational grasp of 3D CAD software concepts and parametric modeling principles (SolidWorks experience is a major plus). The Many Benefits of Working at ADW A comfortable, high-collaboration workspace where your ideas win and your voice directly dictates product choices. A tight-knit team of passionate specialists who share engineering expertise freely with zero internal bureaucracy. A competitive salary paired with a robust health benefits package (Vision, Dental, Medical Prescriptions, etc.). Flexible core hours with hybrid work options. In-person primary collaboration based out of our Woodbridge, ON office. About Us Automated DesignWorks (ADW) is at the forefront of innovation in CAD design automation.
