PM Production Supervisor Auxly is an international cannabis company dedicated to bringing innovative, effective, and high-quality cannabis products to the medical, wellness and adult-use markets. Reports To: Production Manager Shift / Assignment: Monday to Friday (PM shift, 3:30PM until 12:00AM), occasional Saturdays Compensation: $60,000–$70,000/year Position Summary Oversees daily production across all cells for their shift, working through Cell Leads to keep output, quality, safety, and staffing on track. Acts as the senior floor presence for the shift and the main point of escalation above Cell Leads. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate the daily/weekly workload for all cells, including movement and management of staff between cells as needed. * Follow up on issues raised by Cell Leads, for example coordinating support from Maintenance. * Maintain cross-departmental communication. * Own health and safety compliance for the shift, including H&S incident reporting. * Handle disciplinary follow-up and actioning for staff. * Participate in hiring and termination decisions, ensuring staffing levels match forecast requirements, in partnership with the Labour Coordinator. * Support process improvement projects. * Assist with quality investigations and incident reporting. Qualifications & Experience * 3+ years supervising a production or manufacturing floor, ideally regulated, cGMP, food, pharma, or cannabis. * Comfortable running a full shift semi-autonomously across multiple cells. * Strong people-management skills across a mixed team of experienced and newly hired frontline staff. * Experience handling disciplinary processes and health & safety incident reporting. * Working knowledge of packaging/production equipment; doesn't need to be a technician, but needs to speak the language of the floor. * Comfortable with cannabis-industry compliance requirements (Health Canada, provincial regulator) or willing to ramp up quickly.
