Full Stack Developer Location: Remote-first (Candidate must be based in the province of Quebec) Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 CAD + profit sharing Type: Full-Time Auxo is hiring a Full Stack Developer for a fully remote software studio that designs and ships custom web products for clients ranging from fast-growing US startups to global enterprises. You'll join a tight, roughly 20-person team that has been fully remote since 2016, not because of the pandemic, but because they believe great engineers do their best work with real freedom and autonomy. Almost everyone here is technical, the structure is flat, and there are no non-technical project managers in the way. You'll own the build: taking fully designed interfaces and turning them into responsive, interactive, production-ready products across the stack. This is not a role where you'll push pixels or wait for tickets. Designs arrive fully thought-out from the product team, so your focus is engineering: clean TypeScript, strong React, well-built Node APIs, and code that holds up once it's live. The team moves fast, stays on the cutting edge, and treats AI as a real part of how it builds. Because the team is small and fully remote, they value people who are genuinely passionate, startup-driven, highly autonomous, and self-directed, and who bring energy when everyone gets together in person. What You'll Do Build full-stack web features end-to-end, across React front-ends and Node backends Turn fully designed interfaces into polished, responsive, interactive products Design and build backend APIs in Node Write clean, maintainable TypeScript across the codebase Take part in code reviews and technical decisions on your projects Use AI development tools as a core part of your daily workflow Help keep deliverables stable in production, with an eye on reliability and monitoring Work directly with clients and your pod to scope and ship Who You Are 3-5+ years of professional full stack development experience (flexible for a genuinely sharp, passionate profile) Strong TypeScript experience Strong React experience (must-have) Solid experience building backend APIs in Node (must-have) Comfortable owning features from requirements through production Genuinely passionate and eager to learn fast, the kind of person who stays on top of their craft Highly autonomous and self-directed, and able to thrive in a 100% remote environment A collaborative, socially engaged teammate who adds energy to in-person events English required Bonus: experience or knowledge in AI/ML Bonus: interest and ability to lead projects, both client and technical team

Build end-to-end web features by turning designed interfaces into responsive, production-ready products using React and Node. You will also design backend APIs, participate in code reviews, and utilize AI tools to maintain high-quality code.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of professional full stack experience with strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js. The role requires a highly autonomous, self-directed individual who is comfortable owning features from requirements through to production.
