Atholville Mill is currently recruiting for the following position: Red Seal Pipefitter (1st Class) The Pipefitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of low/rich pressure piping systems and their components. Key Responsibilities include: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial piping systems for steam, condensate, water, compressed air, chemicals, and process fluids. Install, inspect, and repair pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam traps, pressure-reducing stations, and associated mechanical equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on piping systems and mechanical equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime. Monitor and adjust system operating conditions, including pressure, temperature, flow, and fluid levels. Participate in maintenance shutdowns, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with operations and other maintenance trades to support safe and reliable mill operations. Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications Graduate of grade twelve high school course along with maintaining a 1st class Pipefitter license. Experience considered an asset. The Pipefitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low and high pressure industrial piping systems. This includes troubleshooting components like pumps and valves and performing preventive maintenance to ensure mill reliability.

Candidates must be a high school graduate and hold a 1st class Red Seal Pipefitter license. Willingness to work overtime and be on-call is required, with a preference for those possessing multiple trades.
