Lead Electrical Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. Location: Mississauga, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid Responsibilities Lead and/or perform the product level design, analysis and verification activities of a Hardware Development team Perform electrical circuit design, analysis and verification activities, preferably using model based design approach (MBD) as a lead or part of a hardware development team Perform trade studies in concept selection, product architecture design and analysis; electronics circuit (mixed signal and/or power supply) design and analysis Develop low level requirement documents and manage requirement changes using DOORS Perform or coordinate the tasks including creating test procedures, development / verification testing, documentation, resolution of technical problems. Hardware team focal for interfacing with customer and/or other functional groups Conduct technical presentations and participate in design reviews. Collaborate with other functional groups as necessary to advance the product design Provide support to manufacturing, investigate failures and identify root causes and permanent corrective action by working with internal and external customers. Provide support to task planning, preparation of schedules and estimates, metric collection and project statusing. Ability to handle multiple tasks through proper prioritization and schedule management. Develop verification plan and write test cases. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Strong Experience in electronic circuit design Thorough knowledge of electronic design, analysis, simulation, build, test and support processes Must be proactive and be able to work with limited direction, well organized, possess good communication and interpersonal skills

Lead the design, analysis, and verification activities of a hardware development team for safety-critical electronics. Coordinate with customers and functional groups to manage requirements, conduct design reviews, and provide manufacturing support.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with strong experience in electronic circuit design and simulation. Candidates must be proactive, well-organized, and possess strong communication skills to work with limited direction.
