Job Summary: The Engineering Support Specialist is responsible for supporting engineering and manufacturing operations through the creation, maintenance, and administration of Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, drawings, and product configuration data. The role ensures that engineering information is accurately entered, maintained, and released within ERP and document control systems to support production, procurement, quality, and customer requirements. Job Responsibilities: Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system. Enter and maintain item master data, material attributes, and product configurations. Process engineering change notices (ECNs) and update affected documentation. Release engineering drawings and documents in accordance with established procedures. Verify BOM accuracy against engineering drawings and design documentation. Assist with revision control and document management activities. Ensure all engineering documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed. Assist in maintaining engineering databases, templates, and records. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering support processes. Assist with meeting scheduling, document preparation, and other engineering administrative activities as required. Follow company procedures for document control, quality, and data management. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Engineering Administration, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an engineering support, document control, manufacturing, or product data role. Experience working with ERP systems such as Visual, Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar. Familiarity with engineering drawings, BOM structures, and revision control processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
