About the Role: Reporting The Quality Assurance Inspector reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. Core Competencies Interpersonal Skills Communication Organizational Skills Professionalism Attention to detail and Accuracy Problem Solving Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities Complete internal audits as required to maintain the Avmax Quality Assurance program. Review and maintain supplier self-audits and maintain the Company's vendor/supplier list. Complete customer self-audits and maintain customer files. Follow up on internal audit findings. Conduct investigations as required. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Certified AME preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills. Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge. Demonstrates ability to motivate employees. Experience 3 to 5 years of practical experience in an aviation environment, particularly in quality assurance or inspection roles, is essential. Proficiency in conducting audits, including planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up. Thorough knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), particularly those related to airworthiness and maintenance, is crucial. Familiar with the principles of Quality Management System (QMS) and how they are applied within an aerospace context, including document control, process control, and continuous improvement is an asset. Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization. Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise.
