Summary Location: Montreal Work Mode: Hybrid (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence required 3x/week) Duration: 12 months Responsibilities Contribute to the development of core infrastructure components on Sybase, DB2, MSSQL, and new platforms like MongoDB, Snowflake, and Azure SQL. Engage in database engineering projects and strategic RDBMS product evaluations. Participate in performance optimization, testing, platform migration, and version upgrades. Operate in a fast-paced Agile environment ensuring quality and resiliency. Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Intermediate knowledge of development and performance optimization on major RDBMS and NoSQL (MongoDB) technologies. Proficiency in scripting with Python. Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems. Excellent communication skills. Preferred Skills Understanding of data modeling concepts. Experience with version control, preferably with GIT. Knowledge of ETL products such as Talend or Informatica. Familiarity with replication and Agile practices. Experience working in geographically dispersed teams. Integrity, ownership, and motivation to expand technical and business knowledge. This role is for an existing vacancy.
