We are seeking experienced Senior Backend Engineers to join a critical development initiative for a leading client in the hospitality industry. This project involves building new features and enhancing existing backend services using a modern technology stack, while collaborating closely with the Machine Learning/AI team. Key Responsibilitie sWork as an independent contributor with minimal supervision throughout the software development lifecycle .Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions .Mentor and support junior engineers and newly onboarded team members .Analyze requirements and prepare functional and technical design specifications .Develop, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain scalable microservices .Participate in end-to-end backend development, testing, and deployment . Required Qualificatio ns5+ years of hands-on software development experienc e.Strong ability to work independently and handle ambiguous technical challenge s.Proficiency in Java for backend development (mandatory ).Experience with microservices architecture, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and end-to-end application developmen t.Solid understanding of distributed systems, high-scale architectures, data pipelines, and performance optimizatio n.Willingness to work across the backend stack to solve complex technical problem s.Experience using Generative AI tools, particularly Claude Code, is highly preferre d.Exposure to Python and/or Node.js is a strong advantag e.
