Position: Bed Truck Operator Type: Fulltime Pay: Commensurate with experience Duties And Responsibilities Move rig buildings, derricks, matting, and other miscellaneous oilfield equipment Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods Preform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices Will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions Weekend work, on call work, overtime as required Travel and/or camp work Qualifications Class 1 Driver’s License required with a clean abstract Map reading/LSD Strong mechanical aptitude Demonstrated organizational skills, time management techniques, and a strong work ethic Ability to work with little supervision in a professional manor Good depth perception and manual dexterity Benefits Competitive wages that reflect your skill and experience Comprehensive group health benefits (with a health spending account) Tool and Safety Allowance Comprehensive training and education programs Employee Assistance program Year-round work Work life Balance.
