Location: Nunavut, CA The Company B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. Position Labourer, Nunavut Location and Reporting Structure Reporting to the Supervisor, Facilities, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada. Responsibilities Perform a range of manual labour tasks, including but not limited to ditch digging, shoveling, raking, operating walk-behind packers, and supporting skid steer and light equipment operations. Utilize hand tools and light equipment to complete grading, leveling, and general site preparation activities efficiently. Load, unload, transport, and properly store materials, always ensuring safe handling practices and compliance with policies and procedures. Assist in site development activities, including but not limited to preparation, grading, and maintaining work areas to support construction related projects. Identify, report, and help mitigate safety hazards, incidents, and near misses in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment while adhering to B2Gold Nunavut’s health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Desired Competencies And Requirements One (1) year of civil labourer experience in a remote or camp environment, performing manual labour tasks and operating light equipment; prior mining site experience is considered an asset; High School Diploma or GED; and Strong ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and the ability to follow instructions in a dynamic site environment. Compensation And Benefits For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $85,436.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $31.00 and overtime rate of 46.50) in a work year.
