Location: Nunavut, CA The Company B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. Position Utility Truck Operator, Nunavut Location and Reporting Structure Reporting to the Supervisor, Site Services, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada. Responsibilities Safely operate utility trucks, including water trucks, service trucks, and light vehicles, as required. Service gensets, stationary equipment, and mobile equipment to ensure continuous operation. Supply fresh water to the treatment plant, auxiliary buildings, and underground portal. Control dust on site roads and the airstrip to maintain a safe and clean environment. Support loading and unloading activities when necessary. Perform septic tank pumping, cleaning, and maintenance in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Empty waste containers completely, ensuring the cleanliness of the surrounding area. Position containers upright, replace lids, and avoid blocking entrances or traffic. Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure proper functionality. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, fuel consumption, and completed tasks. Desired Competencies and Requirements One (1) year of experience operating utility or heavy vehicles in an industrial environment, with preference given to those with mining experience. Completion of primary school, High school diploma is preferred. Class 3 Driver's License with airbrake endorsement preferred or past verification of competency with similar equipment. Ability to work outside in harsh climates and environmental conditions, including exposure to extreme cold (-70 C) and wet conditions to high heat and humidity (30+C). Compensation And Benefits For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $99,216.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $36.00 and overtime rate of $54.00) in a work year.
