Operations Supervisor

Operation Supervisors are accountable for many aspects of the day-to-day operations including but not limited to ensuring the operators follow proper safety protocol, on-boarding and training new operators, and customer service to clients. The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience. RESPONSIBILITES What You'll Be Doing Assists with dispatching units and schedule projects daily. Communicates with clients, with a customer service focus daily. Assists with project related biddings and proposals. Supports and improves business development daily. Reviews operator’s daily paperwork (Daily trip ticket, FLRA, DOT logs). Ensures that operators are following Badger’s maintenance polices procedures. Delivers material to the units in the field if required. Assists and supports with monthly safety meeting which includes preparing the agenda. Performs daily onsite safety inspections. Ensures that utility dig preauthorization (ex: 811-DIG) is complete. Qualifications What You'll Need For Success: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience required in one of the following industries: Vacuum / Pump Trucks, Commercial Underground Construction, Trucking/Fleet Management, Sewer / Water Line, Underground Utilities, Waste, Equipment Rentals. Valid CDL preferred. Supervisory experience required. Mechanical skills preferred. Sales experience preferred. Computer skills and strong organizational skills required, with a preference for Oracle or similar system. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on new challenges. Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.

Oversees day-to-day operations including dispatching, project scheduling, and ensuring operators follow safety protocols. Manages client relations, conducts onsite safety inspections, and reviews operator paperwork and maintenance compliance.

Requires a high school diploma and previous supervisory experience in industries such as underground construction, trucking, or waste management. Must possess strong organizational skills and the physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
