Report to the Training Supervisor and responsible for providing quality and timely operator and general site based training, including training for policies/procedures, professional development, and on various items of mobile equipment to ensure operator competency, maximize equipment utilization and enhanced production safely. Main Accountabilities Provide training and mentoring of operators in the safe and efficient operation of all mobile equipment in the departments, including: Simulator, Classroom work, and Field work Provide direction and mentoring to Department identified Coaches who assist with training Evaluate employees on their abilities to safely and effectively operate the equipment and other day to day activities Maintain accurate records of training events and provide training reports and summaries as needed (course outlines, attendance & evaluations). Provide regularly monitoring and feedback to department managers and supervisors on training initiatives, outcomes and logistical issues as per the Training Manager. Assist in ensuring production goals are achieved by working collaboratively with the various departments Facilitate additional internal training programs targeting the improvement of operator knowledge and skills as well as soft-skill development and policy/procedure training Be a courageous safety leader; adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedure compliance to site OHS standards as well as participating in safety initiatives, hazard identification, tool box meetings and incident investigations where required. Promote FLRA Main Qualifications Atleast 7 years of experience in Mining, Construction, Road Work, Quarry/Tractor trailer/BTrain Safety Certifications. ie Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry Train the trainer certificate First Aid/CPR Certification WSCC Supervisor Certification Tractor Trailer Class 1 endorsement, Air Brake Endorsement preferred Job Location Mary River Mine Site, NU, Canada

Exigences
Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in mining, construction, or related fields, along with various safety certifications. A Train the Trainer certificate and First Aid/CPR certification are also required.
