We pride ourselves on promoting talent when we see it, and work with each professional to define what success means for them.” Your role Assisting the team in financial statement preparation of compilations and review engagements for small to medium sized businesses Reviewing client information for personal and corporate tax returns, prepare query lists for clients Participating in audits of various institutional and non-profit organizations Performing other related accounting functions What you bring to the table Must be enrolled in a post-secondary educational program (Accounting/Business/Management major) Must have strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and an ability to work both independently and in a team Experience with computer software such as: Quickbooks Online (QBO), Caseware, Tax Programs (Tax Prep), and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is an asset. Good written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills along with attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop What’s in it for you? Collaborative workspace with peers Paid Overtime (1.5x) Participation in the firm’s social events during your summer term Where you’ll work: Saskatoon, or Emerald Park, or Yorkton, Saskatchewan (please indicate your location preference within your cover letter) Job type: Term (4-month), Full-time Your schedule: Monday to Friday May-June: 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hr lunch) (40 hrs per week) July-Aug: 8:00am - 4:00pm (1 hr lunch); (35 hrs per week) Salary range: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package based on experience and qualifications and the opportunity to excel in a dynamic public accounting environment.
