Senior Software Developer

This role is a current vacancy , and we are actively seeking a candidate to join the team. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Own Braze as the technical and product SME, driving platform strategy, configuration, and best practices. * Build and maintain integrations connecting Braze with player accounts, sportsbook, casino, CRM, data platforms, and third-party services. * Design player data models, events, attributes, segments, subscriptions, and environments to support personalised engagement. * Lead Braze implementations and migrations, ensuring reliable data, smooth cutovers, and minimal disruption to player communications. * Build pipelines that keep player profiles, wagering activity, events, and segments accurate and up to date. * Partner with CRM, Marketing, and Product to turn player engagement requirements into scalable technical solutions. * Monitor platform usage, campaign performance, deliverability, and data consumption to identify opportunities and improve effectiveness. * Evaluate and support adjacent platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CDPs. * Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, consent, and responsible gaming requirements. * Document architecture, integrations, and runbooks while supporting monitoring and incident response for critical marketing systems. We use Metaview, an AI-powered note-taking tool, during interviews to help capture key discussion points. The tool is used for note-taking purposes only and does not evaluate candidates or influence hiring decisions. Interview notes are used solely for recruitment purposes and are handled in accordance with applicable U.S. and Canadian privacy laws. Salary: $120,000-$150,000 CAD #LI-OP1

The role involves owning the Braze platform strategy and building integrations to support personalized player engagement across various data platforms. You will collaborate with CRM, Marketing, and Product teams to design scalable technical solutions while ensuring data accuracy and security compliance.

The candidate must have expertise in Braze platform management, data modeling, and system integration. Strong skills in documentation, incident response, and supporting marketing systems are required to ensure reliable platform performance.
