Join our growing dental lab in Richmond, BC. Position Title: Removable/Denture Technician Position Overview As an advanced denture technician, your skill set should include the ability to set up full and partial dentures. You should be able to fabricate bite rims, mount cases on articulators, finish and polish processed cases. Skills should include ability to complete denture repairs, relines and small welds. Along with regular work, you will have to be familiar with equipment maintenance and tools. You will be responsible for organizing workflows and meeting deadlines, as well as quality control and completing work according to prescription specifications. Required Skills and Knowledge Ability to wax, set up, finish full and partial dentures Understanding of facial anatomy, teeth occlusion, jaw function, dental anatomy Understanding of dental materials, dental equipment Understanding of digital dental workflows Ability to design cast partial frameworks Ability to read and understand dental prescriptions Ability to follow directions and communicate through written and verbal methods Ability to communicate with dentists regarding cases in the laboratory Area of Responsibility - Set up and wax up of full and partial dentures Complete relines and repairs Manage workflows and communicate with staff and dentists Daily Tasks Organize workflows in the lab Read prescriptions and organize work assigned for the day Communicate with both co-workers and supervisors regarding case work Complete work as scheduled Maintain equipment Keep work area clean Make sure work meets quality standards We are a fully digital dental laboratory servicing the GTA For over 40 years Artistic Dental Ceramic has sought to deliver excellence in all aspects of Dental Technology.
