RECREATION TECHNICIAN / POWERSPORTS MECHANIC Bannister GP Motorsports – Grande Prairie, AB Bannister GP Motorsports is looking for an experienced Recreation Technician / Powersports Mechanic to join our Service team in Grande Prairie. We are seeking a skilled, hands-on technician with experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of recreational vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working on snowmobiles, motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides/UTVs, and other powersports and recreational equipment. WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Recreation Technician, you will be responsible for: * Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and performance concerns on recreational vehicles and equipment * Performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on snowmobiles, motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports equipment * Completing engine, drivetrain, suspension, brake, steering, and electrical repairs * Performing scheduled maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services * Installing accessories and performing equipment upgrades or modifications as required * Using diagnostic equipment and service information to accurately identify and resolve concerns * Completing repair orders and documenting work performed accurately * Identifying additional maintenance or repair requirements and communicating findings to the Service team * Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area * Following manufacturer specifications and dealership safety procedures * Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard of quality WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Previous professional experience as a Powersports Technician, Motorcycle Technician, Recreation Technician, Small Engine Mechanic, or similar role * Hands-on experience servicing and repairing snowmobiles, motorcycles, ATVs and side-by-sides * Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic abilities * Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently * Experience using diagnostic tools and manufacturer service information * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship * Good organizational and time-management skills * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team * Valid driver's licence * Relevant technical training, apprenticeship, or certification is considered an asset WHY JOIN BANNISTER GP MOTORSPORTS?
