As a Banquet Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes for various events, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation. *Duties* * Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquets, ensuring all meals meet quality standards. * Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with the culinary team. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. * Supervise kitchen staff during events, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork. * Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. * Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times. * Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service during events. * Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. *Requirements* * Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in a banquet or catering environment. Min. 2 years. * Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Experience in team management or supervising kitchen staff is preferred. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. * A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
