Résumé du poste

Company Description BarterPay® is a social impact enterprise that enables businesses and charities across Canada to obtain the products and services they need without using cash. By helping organizations convert spare capacity—such as unsold time, space, or idle inventory—into full trade value, BarterPay® powers a closed-loop bartering economy. Members can trade what they have for what they need, while supporting community impact through charitable participation. The platform promotes sustainable business practices by reducing waste and maximizing existing resources. BarterPay® encourages organizations to “be in the loop” and participate in a collaborative, value-driven network. Role Description The Commission Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON. This role is responsible for identifying and contacting prospective business and charity members, presenting BarterPay®’s value proposition, and guiding organizations through the enrollment process. The associate will conduct in-person and phone meetings, follow up on leads, maintain an active sales pipeline, and track all activities in the CRM system. Day-to-day tasks include building and nurturing relationships, understanding client needs and spare capacity, and matching them with suitable opportunities within the BarterPay® network. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, meeting sales targets, and representing BarterPay® at local events, networking sessions, and community outreach activities. Qualifications Demonstrated sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing new accounts. Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering value. Effective communication and presentation skills, both in-person and over phone/video, with clear, professional English. Solid organizational and time management skills, including managing a pipeline, using CRM tools, and meeting targets. Comfort working on a commission-based structure, with a results-oriented mindset and resilience in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of small business operations and interest in social impact, circular economy, or barter/trade concepts. Ability to work on-site in Mississauga, ON, including local travel for meetings and events as required. Previous experience in B2B sales, retail sales, or account management is an asset; post-secondary education in business or a related field is beneficial but not required.
