The Basics The Mill Operator is an entry-level role designed to introduce Team Members to the dynamic crush plant environment and learning to provide hands-on support to daily operations Location: Jordan Mills, MB Compensation: $24/hr and up, shift premium applies Days/Hours: We are hiring for the midnight to noon shift in a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off pattern. You will work both days one weekend, then have the next weekend off. You will also operate equipment to extract oil from the soybeans. You will also prepare and load soybean oil and meal into trucks for delivery to our customers. Position Responsibilities Assist in loading, unloading, and processing of soybeans Clean equipment and plant Complete Safety, Quality and Production documentation Participate in safety inspections/meetings and corrective actions Participate in maintenance as required Other duties as assigned Requirements To Be Successful In This Position Grade 12 diploma or GED Experience in a processing plant, refinery, mill, or elevator is preferred Available to work off hours and weekends Computer skills for data entry For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications) Able to pass a criminal background check Here are some of the physical requirements for this role: This job can be physically strenuous You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces You will work at heights You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders You will be required to wear PPE #IND1 Additional Information A complete job description is available upon request Bartlett is fully committed to abiding by all equal opportunity employment standards. The Mill Operator is responsible for receiving, moving, and storing soybeans while operating equipment to extract oil and refine soybean meal. Duties include loading trucks for delivery and maintaining plant cleanliness and safety documentation.

Candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma or GED and be able to perform physically strenuous work, including lifting 50 pounds and working at heights. Experience in a processing plant or mill is preferred, along with basic computer skills for data entry.
