Opportunity overview The engagement product manager owns scope, requirements, and business outcomes for agentic AI delivery engagements across RBC. The role combines product management, solutions consulting, and business analysis within an agentic AI enablement team. The position connects business stakeholders with engineering squads by translating business problems into scoped agent solutions. Engagement responsibilities Elicit business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and success metrics. Partner with principal engineers to validate feasibility and create scoped engagement plans with effort estimates and timelines. Maintain scope integrity and assess effort impacts before accepting scope changes. Serve as the day-to-day contact between delivery squads and business stakeholders. Validate agent output against business requirements and own acceptance sign-off. Drive adoption strategy, communications, and change management. Track success metrics and report value realization after delivery. Identify reusable patterns, agent templates, and productization opportunities. Core Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in product management, solutions consulting, business analysis, or engagement management within technology delivery organizations. Experience translating ambiguous business problems into structured requirements and clear success criteria. Ability to partner with engineering teams on feasibility, sizing, and trade-off decisions without owning technical architecture. Strong stakeholder management across executive and practitioner levels. Experience managing scope, requirements changes, and competing priorities in fast-paced delivery environments. Excellent communication and facilitation skills for workshops, recommendations, and alignment. Analytical capability to define meaningful success metrics and track outcomes. Preferred Qualifications Experience in regulated industries, preferably banking or financial services, with knowledge of compliance and governance constraints. Background in professional services, consulting, or managed services with client-facing engagement delivery. Experience with AI, machine learning, agentic AI, or data-intensive solution delivery. Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and embedded work within engineering squads. Experience building product management or solutions practices from scratch in a new or scaling team. AI Group and business enablement RBC's AI Group scales AI opportunities, advances generative and agentic AI use cases, and maintains expertise in security, responsible AI, and regulatory expectations. The Business Enablement function partners with business lines and functions to set AI ambition, originate transformation opportunities, and frame delivery programs.
