Position Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Bar Supervisor to join our team on a Full-Time basis. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and elevating the beverage program, creating innovative and artfully crafted cocktails, and providing an exceptional level of service to our esteemed guests. Salary: $22 per hour + gratuities Shifts: Full Time/Permanent. Weekdays, weekends, days and evenings. Craftsmanship and Mixology: * Demonstrate expert knowledge in mixology, utilizing creative and innovative techniques to craft exceptional cocktails. * Train and mentor the bar staff in the art of mixology, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of beverages. * Maintain a strong understanding of various spirits, wines, and other beverage categories, and provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and menu choices. Service Excellence: * Deliver a warm and personalized service experience to guests, building relationships and ensuring their satisfaction. * Provide beverage suggestions, pairings, and detailed descriptions to enhance the dining experience. * Address any guest concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations at all times. Inventory Management: * Oversee the procurement, inventory control, and stock rotation of all bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools. * Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste, control costs, and ensure optimal stock levels. * Collaborate with the management team to manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable pricing and terms. Team Leadership: * Lead by example, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. * Conduct regular training sessions for the bar staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products, techniques, and service standards. REQUIREMENTS * Proven experience as a Bar Supervisor or a similar role in an upscale, fine dining environment. * Extensive knowledge of mixology, craft cocktails, and beverage pairing principles. * Strong understanding of various spirits, wines, and other alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with guests and colleagues. * Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, training, and performance evaluation. * Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Proficient in bar management software and inventory management systems. * Must be of legal drinking age and hold any required alcohol service certifications in your jurisdiction.
