To learn more, please visit https://thebasestation.com. About the Role We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Basestation. In this role, you will work closely with our Founder, CTO, and engineering team to build the operating system for the waste industry. Primary responsibilities include: Owning the entire software development lifecycle from development and testing to deployment and maintenance Architecting, designing, and developing new features Working closely with our Founder and CTO to further the product roadmap Defining engineering best practices and processes About You 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer Experience using TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js (or similar technologies) Designing and developing user-friendly and performant frontends Developing mobile applications using React Native or other cross-platform frameworks. Building, maintaining, and scaling relational databases (i.e. PostgreSQL or another RDMS) Testing and continuous integration using Jest, Cypress, or similar tools Integrating with third-party APIs and services DevOps fundamentals using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible You are also someone who is: Intellectually curious Obsessed with code/product quality Not afraid to ask questions Empathetic to users Biased to action

The role involves owning the entire software development lifecycle to build an operating system for the waste industry. Responsibilities include architecting new features and defining engineering best practices in collaboration with the Founder and CTO.

Candidates need over 5 years of full-stack experience with proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and relational databases. Experience with mobile development via React Native and DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes is also required.
