As a Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and positively impact growth across Bath & Body Works. Our store leaders are the front line of our field leadership team: they're retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors, and thrive on the connections we make with our customers. Responsibilities Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent. Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager including acting as manager on duty, when scheduled, to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues. Partner with the members of the sales leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities. Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret/disseminate company directives. Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work. Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers. Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge. Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations. Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience. Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates. All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Associates are expected to climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store. Associates should be able to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds. Consistently provide the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations. Maintain our values, policies, and procedures. Qualifications Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting. Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment. Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture. Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly. Ability to provide in the moment coaching to associates. Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively. Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.
