*Job description* Bay-Lynx is a manufacturer of volumetric concrete mixers and stone spreaders for the construction industry. We supply quality solutions to our customers in North America through our facilities in Ancaster and Portland, Tennessee; and to Europe through our two UK facilities. As we grow our business, we are finding ourselves in need of experienced *Welder/Fitters* for our Ancaster, ON. location. *WHAT WE OFFER:* * *4 Day Work Week, Mon - Thurs 10 hour shifts, Friday available OT* * Health Benefits Package including dental, health and life insurance * Company uniform * RRSP option with company match * Boot Allowance * Convenient location, clean and bright working environment * Employee wellness program * Company events *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Metal Core Welding * Rig, hoist and move materials to and from workstations * Read and Interpret blueprints for fabrication and weld specifications * Use precise measuring skills for exact fitting of materials and parts * Operate over head cranes, forklifts and other shop equipment * Ensure safe work practices are adhered to and appropriate PPE is worn always * Ensure scheduled milestones are met *QUALIFICATIONS:* * Minimum 5 years? in fitting, welding experience. Preferably in heavy equipment, farm or construction vehicles. * Good working experience with a wide variety of tools and equipment. * Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team. * Be familiar with general steel manufacturing practices * Physically fit in order to lift heavier items and climb and crouch in assemblies. * Must have own independent and reliable transportation. * Willingness to work overtime as required. * Strong personal work ethic and the ability to meet/surpass production deadlines.
