Position: Security Officer Facility: St Joseph's Hospital The Security Officer performs general safety & security duties including: Patrol and detection services Assisting customers Response and intervention responsibilities Provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety Completes communication and documentation tools Conducts weapons screening in appropriate manner Completes other duties as assigned Required specific skills also includes life safety and weapons screening techniques. Minimum Qualifications Certifications and Licensures Driver's License (State of Florida) IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year Security D - Within 90 days Preferred : FDLE (Law Enforcement) Education High School or Equivalent Preferred : Associate's in Related Field Experience 1 year Customer Service Preferred : 2 years Security Location: Tampa, FL Status: Full Time Shift Hours: 10:30 PM-7:00 AM Weekend Work: Every Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled

The Security Officer is responsible for general safety and security duties, including patrols, monitoring, and weapons screening. They ensure the safety of team members, patients, and visitors through active intervention and documentation.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and a valid Florida Driver's License, with one year of customer service experience. Required certifications include IAHSS and Security D within specified timeframes after hire.
