Responsibilities: Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Utilize your expertise to diagnose a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Create and implement personalized, evidence-based therapy plans that cater to each client’s unique needs. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, psychologists, educators, and other professionals to provide holistic and integrated care. Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure meticulous and up-to-date client records, adhering to all regulatory standards. Engage in Continuous Learning: Stay ahead in your field by participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Educate and Empower Clients: Provide clients and their families with effective strategies to support communication and swallowing functions, enhancing their quality of life. Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists or Speech-Language Pathologists required. Three years’ experience providing Speech-Language Pathology services preferred. Experience completing in-home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and legal system is an asset particularly medical/legal report writing. Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments. Strong communication (oral and written) and exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills. Demonstrate basic knowledge of personal computers, and proficiency with secure email. Valid driver’s license. The Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for clients. They will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide education to families to enhance communication and swallowing functions.

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be registered with the relevant provincial college. Three years of experience is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and proficiency in in-home assessment and documentation.
