*JOB DESCRIPTION* Bayview Rehabilitation is looking for a skilled, reliable Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team, covering day and evening hours. We're a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic that's been serving North York, Thornhill, Richmond Hill and surrounding communities for over 50 years. We're one of a limited number of clinics designated as a Community Physiotherapy Clinic (OHIP) by the Ministry of Health ? our patients include both OHIP-funded and fee-for-service caseloads, giving you clinical variety most private clinics can't offer. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real patient contact, a collaborative team, and the stability of an established clinic ? not a revolving-door practice. *What You'll Do* * Work directly with Registered Physiotherapists to implement patients' treatment programs * Coordinate with the broader rehab team on activities and programs based on individual patient needs * Guide patients' families and caregivers on carrying treatment forward at home * Deliver direct patient care ? administering symptomatic modalities and supervising exercise programs * Maintain up-to-date documentation on all patients treated * Maintain the integrity and function of therapeutic equipment, treatment areas and the gym, including laundering linens and cleaning equipment after every use * Identify, report and correct safety issues ? work is conducted in a safe manner at all times * Adhere to our infection control practices *What You Bring* * Diploma from a recognized college's Physiotherapy Assistant program, or a physiotherapy degree from an internationally accredited program (Internationally Educated Physiotherapists working toward Canadian licensure are encouraged to apply) * Solid understanding of rehabilitation principles and the ability to communicate and work successfully in an interdisciplinary team environment * Proven ability to carry out delegated tasks reliably with minimal supervision * Strong written and oral communication skills * A high level of compassion and empathy * Physical stamina ? standing, bending, kneeling and lifting for extended periods * Asset: previous experience in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic * Asset: previous experience in a Community Physiotherapy (OHIP) clinic *Why Bayview* * 50+ years serving this community ? an established clinic, not a startup gamble * Varied caseload spanning OHIP-funded and fee-for-service patients * Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment * Real path to build Canadian clinical experience while pursuing licensure ? genuinely relevant if IEPTs are a core part of who you're recruiting, since it's a direct pitch to their specific situation Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Application question(s): * Do you have a diploma from a recognized Physiotherapist Assistant program, or a physiotherapy degree from an internationally accredited program? * Are you legally authorized to work in Canada? * This position is located in North York, ON.
