Parts Manager

We are seeking a Parts Manager to play a key role in supporting our customers and service team! Reporting to the Director of Parts, the Parts Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operation of the Parts department, including performance management of Parts staff to achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities * Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet customer needs and optimize inventory turns. * Assist and oversee Parts staff in the branch, as required. Coach staff on best practices and policies * Oversee shipping and receiving. * Evaluate and recommend parts required based on customer information. * Answer and make sales calls as needed. * Oversee and perform inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy. * Ensure the showroom is clean and the displays are effective and professional in appearance. * Look up and locate parts in inventory or order parts from suppliers as per policies. * Generate quotes and complete orders as per customer requests. * Negotiate key sales issues and handle objections as required. * Assist customers post-sale with warranty claims * Explain warranty coverage to customers (as applicable). * Assist with inter-branch transfers. * Maintain a professional appearance and a safe, clean work environment. * Qualifications that a candidate MUST possess in order to gain consideration for this position: * Previous experience in heavy equipment industry, preferably Kubota. * Experience in a dealership environment. * High degree of product and technical knowledge. * Demonstrated experience in coaching and leading teams. * Self-starter and motivated to sell. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines. * Available to work evenings or weekends if necessary. * Excellent computer skills. All new hires are required to present a clean criminal reference check. All employees operating company vehicles are required to present a clean Driver’s abstract. Bayview will reimburse the cost of these documents when presented with the receipt of payment. The Parts Manager oversees the daily operations of the Parts department, including managing staff performance to meet sales targets. Key duties include maintaining inventory levels, overseeing shipping and receiving, and handling customer quotes and warranty claims.

Candidates must have previous experience in a dealership environment within the heavy equipment industry, preferably with Kubota. Strong leadership skills, technical product knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours are required.
