Type of position: Regular Your future role on our team Join BBA and make the most of your experience by actively contributing to the various stages of major electrical engineering projects, from the start of the business relationship to onsite equipment commissioning. As a designer, you’ll help deliver engineering projects, select technology and implement projects in the mining, hydropower and heavy industry sectors. You’ll work at our Montréal or Mont-Saint-Hilaire office. You’ll also play a key role in all phases of engineering projects, ensuring exceptional technical quality of deliverables. Results-driven Thirst to learn and excel Willingness to work together while having fun Constantly seeking sustainable and agile solutions Rigorous and ethical Interest in solving the most complex challenges Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements College diploma in mechanical engineering technology Up to five years of experience Experience with 3D design Available to travel occasionally between the Mont-Saint-Hilaire and/or Montréal offices Available for short assignments at client sites Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec Asset: experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.) Asset: advanced English, both written and spoken, to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects Asset: knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, Navisworks, Ansys and AutoCAD applications Asset: knowledge of piping, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanized welding and structural engineering An Overview Of BBA’s Total Rewards Annual base salary Annual premium program for all regular employees Time bank Cellphone fee reimbursements Group insurance plan from the first day of employment, including disability insurance and a telemedicine program Retirement savings plan Annual vacation and sick leave Premium for employee referrals BBA considers many factors when determining the annual base salary, including location, market, education, relevant and demonstrated work experience, technical assessment, qualifications, certifications and other relevant skills.
