We utilize modern dental technology, including: Digital radiography Digital charting and records through ClearDent Intraoral scanning technology Comprehensive restorative and preventive dentistry Family-focused patient care Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols Take and process digital radiographs Accurately chart and document treatment within ClearDent Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions Assist with restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and general dental procedures Maintain inventory and clinical supplies as required Support a positive patient experience from start to finish Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative team members Qualifications Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) designation Current registration and certification required Experience with ClearDent is considered an asset Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization standards Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment New graduates are encouraged to apply Why Nanaimo?
