Job Code: 3907309 [ School District #19 (Revelstoke) ](https://www.makeafuture.ca/regions-districts/bc-public-school-districts/okanagan/revelstoke/) * * * ##### Job Details Job Summary & Responsibilities The District School Psychologist position includes opportunities to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment in the context of the Student Support Services Department and with school personnel. The successful candidate will also: * Provide ongoing collaborative consultation and planning for students and classrooms through school-based team meetings and care team meetings. * Provide individualized psychoeducational assessments (based on student need) for students referred through the school-based team. * Maintain and track district wide assessments for the purpose of program planning. * Work collaboratively with colleagues and students in classroom settings to guide programming. * Provide professional learning opportunities for educators and support staff. * Assist with the Ministry of Education processes for designation and eligibility for adult support services (CLBC) * Assist with the administration of Screen Smart initiatives. * Maintain contact with other agencies for the purpose of supporting school district goals and objectives. * Assist staff, students, and parents with the delivery of educational psychology services. * Education & Experience * Master’s Degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology or equivalent * Possess or eligible for membership in the BC Association of School Psychologists and/or the College of Psychologists BC * Teaching certification with B.C. Teacher Regulation Branch. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Demonstrated understanding of B.C.
