Ministry of Attorney General Dawson Creek (On-Site) This is a temporary opportunity until March 31, 2028. This position may be extended or become permanent. This position has full-time on-site requirements. Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment. Court Clerk $60,785.98 - $68,752.08 annually which includes a 3-grid Market Adjustment The Dawson Creek Law Courts team is a diverse, energetic, and client‑focused group dedicated to ensuring access to justice through a fair and effective court system. This team of seven works collaboratively with managers, supervisors, registry staff, court clerks, sheriffs, judges, and justice system partners in a supportive environment that values teamwork, knowledge‑sharing, and delivering high‑quality service to the community. This role provides administrative support to all levels of court by performing pre‑court, in‑court, and post‑court duties, maintaining accurate court records and exhibits, and delivering front counter court services. The position plays a vital role in ensuring court information is reliable and accessible, offering an engaging opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, diverse, and dynamic environment while supporting community members as they navigate the court system. Qualifications for this role include: Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED). Minimum of two years’ administrative support or customer service experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Minimum of one-year previous work experience in keyboarding, data entry, word processing, and working with standard computer applications and software programs (e.g., Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Keyboard speed of 40 words per minute. Valid B.C. drivers’ licence.
