BDN Construction Travelling Site Superintendent - Retail & Restaurant Construction Location: Ontario to BC (Travel Required) Run Projects Across Canada. Lead Sites Solo. Get the Job Done. BDN Construction is a GTA-based commercial contractor delivering retail and restaurant projects across Canada - from Ontario to British Columbia. We run lean, well-organized sites led by superintendents who can manage subcontractors, hold a schedule, and aren't afraid to pick up the tools when the job calls for it. We're looking for a Travelling Site Superintendent to run retail and restaurant projects end to end - often as the only BDN person on site. What You Will Own Run retail and restaurant projects in Ontario and across BC - often as the sole BDN representative Manage and coordinate subcontractors: scheduling, quality, safety, and accountability Daily planning: sequence work, coordinate deliveries and inspections, protect the schedule Report in Procore: daily logs, task lists, and weekly status reports to head office Self-perform work daily as needed - small scopes, punch list, deficiency items Be BDN's face on site - primary contact for clients, landlords, and GCs Enforce site safety as the competent supervisor under OHSA and local equivalents What You Bring 5+ years supervising retail and restaurant construction as a hands-on superintendent Proven ability to run a site solo - manage subs, hold schedule, solve problems without head office beside you Hands-on capability across trades - comfortable working daily and jumping on tools when needed Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications Procore experience (or similar platform) for daily logs and reporting Current First Aid, Working at Heights, and WHMIS certifications Valid G license with clean abstract Availability for out-of-province assignments of 812 weeks (occasionally longer) Legally entitled to work in Canada Pay & Benefits $80,000 $100,000 salary Vehicle allowance Travel package: Accommodation fully covered + daily per diem/living-out allowance + flights to site and home at project completion Home between projects - work locally on GTA sites when not travelling Health and dental benefits after 3-month probation Paid certifications, training, and development BDN Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
