Registered Dietitian (Allied Health Affiliate Program)

Please read first. This is not a salaried or hourly position. It's an independent practice affiliation. You practice here as our affiliate dietitian, with your own practice named alongside, and you keep your own RD registration, your own clinical judgment, and your own clients. We provide the space, platform, administration, billing, and network around your practice. Affiliates pay a flat monthly membership fee for the space plus a small share of billings for administrative services. There are multiple tiered options depending on the amount of office space and extra administrative support you're interested in. About Beaches Therapy Group Beaches Therapy Group is an established Toronto multidisciplinary practice with three clinic locations, founded by Laura Devlin and Rebecca Loucks. We've spent years building somewhere practitioners actually want to work: warm spaces, administrative support that does the job, and colleagues who take both clinical excellence and practitioner wellbeing seriously. About the Allied Health Affiliate Program We kept meeting excellent independent practitioners doing all of it themselves. The lease, the booking, the billing, the privacy compliance, the website, the marketing. Skilled clinicians spending their evenings on administration instead of on the work they trained for. The Allied Health Affiliate Program exists to solve that. Your practice stays yours. You keep your name, your clinical judgment, your regulatory scope, and your clients. What changes is the infrastructure around it, and the fact that you're now working under an established Toronto name rather than building recognition entirely on your own. This is an affiliation, not a partnership. There's no shared ownership. How you'll be presented You practice here as a Beaches Therapy Group affiliate dietitian, with your own practice named alongside. On our website, in our marketing, and on your profile, it reads like this: Beaches Therapy Group Affiliate Registered Dietitian (example Sarah Chen, RD, Good Leaf Nutrition) Clients get the reassurance of an established multidisciplinary practice, and your own practice name travels with you the whole time. You add "Beaches Therapy Group Affiliate" to your own website and materials, and we use a consistent format across all affiliates. Your practice name stays yours throughout. If you leave, you leave with it, along with your clients. What's included Clinic space (or there are virtual only options). A comfortably furnished room at a BTG clinic, set up and turned over for you, with front-desk reception during business hours. Fully virtual options are also available. Practice platform. Jane for booking, charting, telehealth, and records. Billing and payment processing. Fully handled, including insurer direct billing where your clients' plans allow it. Warm Client Introductions. This is not a referral lead service, however if a client is looking for a Dietician we will make the introduction based on clinical judgment and clinical fit. Administrative support. Onboarding, intake, scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders. Profile on our site. Your own profile page on beachestherapy.ca, presented as a BTG affiliate dietitian with your practice named alongside. You keep your own website as well and mention that you're a BTG affiliate. Marketing and visibility. We promote you by name through our client newsletter and social channels. Health Information Custodian. BTG acts as HIC under PHIPA for records created here, maintaining the clinical record and carrying privacy training, consent, access requests, breach response, retention and destruction. Records from your practice before affiliation stay yours. Interdisciplinary peer consult. An optional monthly gathering where practitioners share cases and connect. Voluntary, and not clinical supervision. Workshops, events, and group programs. Bring your idea and we'll help you organize and promote it. Why a dietitian, and why here Our clinical core is psychotherapy and psychological assessment, and the overlap with dietetics comes up constantly. Disordered eating. Chronic illness where mood and adherence affect each other. GI conditions with a strong stress component. Clients whose relationship with food is inseparable from what they're working on in therapy. We see all of it, and we don't currently have a dietitian to work alongside. For you, that means colleagues who understand why the nutrition piece matters and who will think of you when it does. It also means collaborative care as the normal way of working rather than something you have to build yourself. We're open to a range of practice focuses. If your work is weight-inclusive or intuitive-eating informed, that sits closely with how our clinicians practice. Requirements Current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, in good standing. Your own professional liability insurance meeting BTG's minimum coverage requirements, confirmed at onboarding. An established caseload, or a clearly defined service offering you're ready to build on. This is an ecosystem to grow inside. It isn't a client-acquisition service. A practice approach compatible with integrative wellness and an emphasis on mental health. Terms In-clinic participation is available at a range of weekly commitment levels, with virtual options for practitioners who don't need a physical footprint. Your initial commitment is a six-month term, with no long-term lock-in after that. Referrals within our network are made on clinical judgment and clinical fit alone. Operate an independent dietetics practice as an affiliate within a multidisciplinary clinic. Provide nutritional counseling and collaborative care for clients, particularly those dealing with disordered eating and chronic illness.

Must have current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and professional liability insurance. Requires an established caseload or a defined service offering and a practice approach compatible with integrative wellness.
