From earned media and influencer marketing to social media, events and paid digital campaigns, we help our clients connect with the audiences that matter most. We're looking for a curious, organized and proactive Account Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of PR experience who loves media, social media and pop culture, thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, and wants to build a career in communications. THE ROLE: Media Monitoring, Social Listening & Reporting: Monitor traditional, digital and social media daily for client coverage, competitor activity and emerging industry trends. Conduct social listening to track brand mentions, audience conversations and sentiment. Prepare media coverage reports, campaign summaries and social listening reports with key insights and recommendations. Track campaign performance against KPIs and support the preparation of client reports and updates. Writing & Research: Draft press releases, media pitches, fact sheets, backgrounders, award submissions, briefing documents, blogs and client communications. Research industries, competitors and market trends to identify media opportunities. Prepare briefing materials for interviews, events and spokesperson opportunities. Research & Insights: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and media opportunities for clients. Assist in developing briefing notes for pitches and media opportunities. Client & Team Support: Develop a strong understanding of client brands, products, competitors, key messages and target audiences. Maintain pitch trackers, media lists, editorial calendars, campaign documents and project timelines. Assist with meeting coordination, agendas, status updates and team workbacks. Support media events, trade shows, promotional activations and product mailings. Some travel may be required. Collaborate with PR, social media, creative and influencer teams to execute integrated campaigns. Support the development, coordination and approval of social media content calendars. Contribute ideas and insights during brainstorms and team meetings. Assist with media kit assembly and other hands-on agency activities as needed. Key Criteria 1–2 years of public relations experience (agency experience or relevant internships preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment where priorities can shift quickly. Strong research, organizational and time management skills Exceptional attention to detail Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with a team Experience using media databases such as Muck Rack, Cision or Meltwater is an asset Experience with social media platforms and analytics tools is an asset Curious, proactive and eager to learn Passion for toys, gaming, entertainment, consumer products or youth culture is a plus Why You'll Love Working Here Work with some of the most recognizable brands in toys, entertainment and consumer products.
